Hello POWERFUL LEARNING PRACTICE participants! I was thrilled when I found out I was going to be a fellow. Interestingly enough, I did not really understand what that meant, but intuitively, I thought it was going to be a good thing.
My name is Karen Frimel and I am the
Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Berea City Schools.
The best part of my job is working in a community of learners. This is my first year as a PLPperson and I am looking forward to a vertical learning curve as I begin to understand how this will effect change in a positive way for our students.
Stand By Me- From the award-winning documentary, "Playing For Change: Peace Through Music", comes the first of many "songs around the world" being released independently. Featured is a cover of the Ben E. King classic by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it traveled the globe.
